How to connect AVA Camera to Handheld Scanner

This guide will walk you through the steps required to enable the camera on PS-Mobile and pair the Ava camera with your handheld device. Once set up, live images will automatically be captured and saved to the customer’s Patronscan account.

 


Steps to Enable the Camera on PS-Mobile:

  1. Log in to PS-Mobile

    • Open the PS-Mobile app on your handheld device.

    • Use your administrator credentials to log in.

    • Navigate to the Admin tab located at the bottom or top menu of the app.

    • Click on Settings.

  2. Locate Live Photo Settings

    • Scroll down within the Settings tab until you find the section labeled Live Photo Settings.

  3. Select the Camera

    • Under Live Photo Settings, select the Ava camera you wish to pair with your handheld device from the list of available devices.

  4. Complete Setup

    • Confirm your selection. The Ava camera is now paired with your handheld device.


Verifying the Connection:

  • After pairing, the camera will automatically capture live images whenever a scan is performed on PS-Mobile.

  • These images will be saved directly to the customer’s Patronscan account.


Troubleshooting Tips:

  • Ensure the Ava camera is powered on and within range of the handheld device.

  • If the camera does not appear in the list of available devices, restart both the camera and the handheld device, then try again.

  • Contact support if live images are not being saved to the Patronscan account after completing a scan.


By following these steps, your Ava camera should now be successfully connected and ready to capture live images during scans on PS-Mobile.
