How to Install a 3320g Barcode Scanner

Please follow these steps if you are installing a 3320 barcode scanner to your existing unit.

  1. Remove the Back Panel:

    • Begin by locating the 4 screws securing the back panel of the unit.
    • Use a screwdriver to carefully remove the screws and take off the back panel.

  2. Connect the USB Cable:

    • Plug the USB cable from the barcode scanner into the USB hub located behind the back panel.

  3. Activate the Barcode Scanner:

    • If the unit is turned on, the barcode scanner will begin emitting light, indicating it is powered and ready for use.

  4. Position the Barcode Scanner:

    • Peel off the double-sided tape.
    • Align the barcode scanner to the opening on the left side, located beneath the tablet. Ensure that the scanner’s light is visible through the opening.

  5. Attach the Barcode Scanner:

    • Once aligned correctly, use the double-sided tape to securely attach the barcode scanner in place.

  6. Reassemble the Back Panel:

    • Carefully reposition the back panel and secure it by screwing the 4 screws back into place.

Your barcode scanner is now installed and ready to use!
