How to Pin and Unpin Application

You can pin an app's screen to keep it in view until you unpin it. For example, you can pin an app and hand the device to the operator. With the screen pinned, the operator can use only that app.

Turn On App Pinning

  1. Open your phone's Settings app. 
  2. Tap Security > More Security Settings > App pinning.
  3. Turn on App pinning.
  4. Go to the screen you want to pin.
  5. Tap Overview .
  6. At the top of the app image, tap the app's icon.
  7. Tap Pin.
  8. To unpin a screen:
  9. Touch and hold Back and Overview.

When app pinning is on, you will need to enter your PIN, pattern, or password before you can unpin.
