Scanner Not Connected

If your scanner is not connecting to your tablet, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Verify The Tablet's Power Status:
Ensure your tablet is connected to a power source. Check the battery status in the bottom right corner of your desktop screen. If the battery icon shows a lightning bolt next to it, your tablet is charging.


2. Check the Scanner Connection:
If the tablet is charging but the scanner is still not connecting, try the following:


3. Reset the Connection:

  • Exit the Patronscan app.
  • Unplug the right-angled USB-C cable from the right side of your tablet (next to the charging cable).
  • Leave the cable unplugged for 10 seconds.
  • Plug the cable back in securely.

* Please note that the Patronscan app must be restarted for any of these changes to take effect.
